Science in Hargreaves class
Yesterday, we were fortunate to have four special visitors. They came to teach us about microbiology! All the children in class had the opportunity to take part in two investigations.
First, we found out how difficult it is to wash your hands thoroughly and get rid of all the germs - Thumbs, fingertips and fingernails being the least washed areas. Next, we investigated how a virus is spread in water. If the water turn red it was infected, if it stayed green it was safe.
Thank you to the team from GSK for two great activities.
