As you know, we are hosting a month of music activities!
We launched this, today, with our BBC music day and assembly. Over the last week each class has been able to watch the BBC Ten Pieces and chose one to respond to. Today was spent being creative and what an amazing array of talented pupils we have!
Below is, a small snapshot of, some of the creativity I saw as I visited each class throughout the day.

Many other activities were taking place and I will share some next week. There was plenty of poetry, artwork, dance, composition and model making going on. Even the school office staff joined in by listening to the Ten Pieces. In the Nursery a band were playing for a dance group and one of the poems was shared in the Christ church contact.
We ended the day with an assembly, where each class had, just, 3 minutes to show a snapshot of their day. Again it was a showcase of much variety from rapping to dance and graffiti art to painting. Well done all! Here is our certificate from the BBC.
Take a look at the BBC Music Day website and find out what else in going on over the next couple of week. CBeebies and Blue Peter are taking part.
