Hot cross buns

We would like to say thank you to Mrs Wicks who brought us some hot cross buns for snack today. These were Alban Buns - the original Hot Cross Buns from St Albans's Catgedral. The buns are hand-formed and the cross on the top is formed with two slices of a knife. The bun has a distinctive, spicy taste and went down well with the nursery children!
