Perseverance

Our school value in January was perseverance, so within the year 3 and 4 team, we have been thinking about this value in greater detail during our PSHE lessons.

Our favourite activity was having the challenge of getting a coin out of an ice cube that it had been frozen in! The rules were: no putting the ice cube in your mouth; no banging the ice cube on anything and no hitting the ice cube with anything! Apart from that, we could use any method to get the coin out. We had to use a lot of perseverance to get it out. It was a great way of showing this value.
