Year 5 and 6 Tudor Day

On Wednesday 28th November the Year 5 and 6 children experienced lots of exciting Tudor related activities.

Peter from Medieval days visited the school, bringing with him lots of interesting Tudor artefacts.  The children were allowed to handle and try out all of the artefacts, including Tudor clothes.  Each child made a Henry VIII coin, tried writing with a quill pen, spun some wool and did a brass rubbing.

"I thought that it was interesting to be able to hold such amazing artefacts and dress up in proper Tudor clothes.  It was fascinating to listen to Peter the Peddler's amazing stories."
TJ, Year 6
