The Dinosaurs have been!

Year 1 and 2 are going Dinosaur crazy.

Every morning dinosaur footprints have arrived in Hargreaves classroom. They have been of different sizes. Jack said "we have a chart on the wall to remind us." Olivia says we measured them with cubes so we could count the cubes and see how long each one was."  Alfie said "the footprints were pink, yellow, brown, orange and purple." Zachary said "It is was exciting to come in each morning and find the footprints. We did not know if they would get bigger and bigger or smaller." Annabelle said "that today had the longest footprint, we know because we counted the cubes and today had 26, the most."

Archie liked the dinosaur eggs in the classroom,  Evie likes the leaves on the role play and Rosie and Olivia enjoyed dinosaur music in the role play outside.

In Butterworth class things are taking to the air with pterodactyls flying above other dinosaurs and strange roars have been heard from time to time. In Potter the children have recorded what they already know about our Pre-historic friends and are raring to learn more.
