Yesterday, the children in Potter, Butterworth and Hargreaves, were very excited to invite their parents into their classrooms. Across the school, families were able to spend a short time in the buildings to gain a small insight into where and how their child spends the day.
In year 1 and 2 we asked the children what they enjoyed about this time and found out it was the chance to show where their coat peg is, where their drawer is, the book corner, the toilets (!), where they put their lunch bag and where they sit on the carpet.
The children were certainly very enthusiastic and acted as great tour guides. Everyone was proud to show off their learning environment.
