DanceMyWay - McKee

On Friday night McKee and Lewis took part in the Chauncy dance show. It was a great experience for all the children; from waiting back stage, to dancing, right through to front row seats to watch the rest of the show.

McKee enjoyed dancing to Under the Sea from the Little Mermaid and their bright sparkly costumes were beautifully set off by the sea creature they had painted in class during the week.

Olivia - I liked being on stage. It made me feel very happy and I enjoyed watching the other acts.

Alfie liked watching the other dancers. Emily – I liked making the circle best and felt very excited to be on a stage.

Daniel – said the dance made him very happy and he like the kicking the legs bit best

Grace was very excited and liked holding her nose and doing the wavy arms best of all. She was really, really, really pleased that over 300 people watched the dance.

Evie – The best bit was jumping over the fabric. Rebecca felt happy dancing on stage; she loved it.

Luca was happy because it was fun and he liked the star jumps best.  Daniel – enjoyed doing the dance and said it was fun being on stage. He wants to do it again.

The children were supported by a large number of their family and friends ,who commented that they thought the children very brave to dance in front of so many people, that they all looked smiley and happy and that it was their favourite dance of the show. Others loved the sea creatures on the children's shirts and everyone agreed the whole show was excellent and complimented the children on their enthusiasm and dancing skills.

"Well done McKee class, I am proud of you all" - Mrs Matthews
