Charanga Assembly


Today, we held our termly Charanga assembly. The standard of singing, was as usual, extremely high. These are the songs we performed:-

Reception - Rock a bye baby

Year 1 and 2 - I Wanna Play in a Band

Year 3 and 4 - Lean On Me

Year 5 and 6 - A New Year Carol


Carle and McKee joined us for the first time and they enjoyed the assembly.

F - I thought we were brilliant.
S - After we did it, I felt good.
M - I liked our song best.
L - Our song was fantastic because it had chime bars in. 
T - I think our song was quiet.
E - I song was good and I liked the song my sister sang.
E - My brother was singing. I liked his song.
I - I liked all the songs.

School is open


School is open, please take care when travelling to school and in the playground. 

Please ensure children have appropriate footwear, coats, gloves etc for outside and school shoes for inside.

Chinese New Year

Last week in Nursery we celebrated Chinese New Year. We tasted Chinese food, took part with a dragon dance, turned our role play into a Chinese restaurant and lots more!

Phonics App



Each child, in KS1, should have log in details for Teach Your Monster to Read. The website is free to use and the app can be purchased, should you wish to. 

However, this week, the app is free to download.

Please ask the class teacher if you need the  log in details again.
