Today we had our first Foundation Stage assembly. Mrs Vaughn read a story to us called 'I'm sorry.' Touching on our Autumn Value 'Compassion'. We listened carefully and talked about when we should say sorry. Well done children!

Pirate hats

We designed and made our own version of a pirate hat!

We even paraded around the school wearing them.

Maritime Museum

Here is a recount of our trip, written by a Year 1 child.

Last week, we all went to the Maritime Museum.

First, we went to the play area and pretended to be pirates on a ship.

Next, we visited Pirate school and found out how to be a Pirate.

After that, the adults showed us around the museum.
We saw lots of different things.

            1. We found treasure and drew it in our treasure chests.

2. We explored the big map.

Finally, we went back to school. It was a great day!

The Chase and other fun!

We enjoyed the Chase today and think that we are all very good runners! We did warm up and cool down activities as well having lots of learning time both inside and out.
