The children in KS1 have been learning about calligrams and have attempted their own versions. Do you know what a calligraphy is?

Stickman

KS1 have been learning about Stickman. A couple of weeks ago Hargreaves shared a brief outline of the story in their assembly and this week Butterworth retold the story, beautifully, using their talk for writing phrases and actions.

Both classes, along with Potter, have written their own versions of the story. Hopefully, as you look through your school books this weekend, you will be able to read your version to your family. I am sure they will enjoy the changes.

We also watched the trailer for the theatre show and saw how someone else had interpreted the story. It has a very catchy tune which children (and staff) could be heard singing at various random moments over the last 3 weeks!
