Snow day in the nursery!

On Tuesday we got to enjoy the snow at school! We made art with the paint on the snow....we sledged and tried hard to build a snowman.  We watched the short film 'The Snowman' and danced to the music.

School is open!

Thank you to the many members of staff who were in school today. Most of the time was spent shovelling snow, to make the site safe for tomorrow! We will be open as usual and look forward to hearing about your snow day. Please ensure your child has a warm coat, boots/sensible shoes, gloves etc ready to wear at playtime. The pantomime will visit us at a later date.

Snow

Please note that, for the safety of all involved, children and staff, school is, regrettably, closed tomorrow (Monday 11th December 2017).

Enjoy your extra snow day, have fun and stay safe. Keep an eye on parentmail, the school website, this blog, the county site and the local news stations for updates.

We will try to let you know as soon as we can, what is happening Tuesday, but we expect to be open.  Remember to let us know what you do and share any photographs, with your class, when we return.

Pipes!

We had fun today when our friends in Reception lent us some tubes, pipes and fames! It was tricky to put it altogether and sometimes the structure we built didn't work in the way we had wanted it to....but when we kept trying and when it worked...woohoo!! BloggerImage

RAF competition

The key stage two children have entered a cometition with the RAF. They had to design a Christmas card wishing the RAF a happy Christmas and a happy 100th birthday. I think they have done a great job and I've enjoyed looking through them!
Here are a few examples..........good luck everyone!
