Throughout the morning, the children took part in three different activities:
- The cup tower challenge
- Swamp challenge
- Newspaper tower challenge.
All three of these activities needed co-operation, perseverance, team work and good communication.
The morning was a huge success, with children wanting to continue the activities during their lunch hour.
In the afternoon, we were inspired by a well known scavenger,'Stig' from Stig of the Dump. The hall was turned into a huge 'dump' with card, plastic, tubing, bottles and fabric and the children used these to create their masterpieces.
A thoroughly enjoyable day had by all.
