Italian Day

The whole school enjoyed Italian Day today at Christ Church. We came dressed in the red, white and green colours of the Italian flag and started our day with a special assembly where we learned a little Italian language and shared our geographical knowledge of the country.  Everyone made a pizza, using freshly prepared dough, to take home to eat. We competed in Italian sports and games throughout the day with our own running version of a Grand Prix around our fabulous track, some 5-A-Side football and a traditional boules game called Bocce. There were many other activities going on throughout the day in classrooms, raising our pupils' awareness and understanding of the wonderful Italian culture. What a magnifico day!
