Well done the boys!

On Thursday 1st March the team played a home game against Bengeo. The team was Tom J, Jake H, Cameron D, Joe M, Dylan C, Moris K, Liam H, Sam S, Alex W and Conner P.

 

The game started at a quick pace with Christ Church having most of the possession, with some great passing moves we were creating some great chances, a goal was defiantly coming. After 15 minutes we eventually got the break through, after 4 or 5 passes the ball was knocked through to Moris K who took the ball on his chest and turned with a lovely volley, the ball was in the back of the net 1 – 0 to Christ Church!

 

It stayed that way until 10 minutes into the second half when we got our second goal. Once again scored by Moris. Bengeo however hadn’t given up and managed to pull a goal back. They kept pressing for the equaliser and if it wasn’t for some solid defending they would surely of got another goal.

 

Once again it was a great team performance and a 2-1 victory was well deserved. Well done the boys!
