On Monday, we gathered in the church to give thanks and celebrate Harvest Festival. Many thanks for the generous food donations, these will be added to those from the church congregations and put to good use.

Each year group took part in the service:-

Reception - sang Dingle Dingle Dangle Scarecrow
Keystage 1 - showed their Andy Warhol inspired fruit and vegetable artwork
Years 3 and 4 - treated us the the Harvest Samba Song
Years 5 and 6 - read the prayers and readings

The school choir sang a beautiful song of thanks and John Hookway, our vicar, attempted to beat the children at hangman, but once again they defeated him. Maybe next time John!

We are glad so many of you were able to join us, in the church building, to take part in this service. We hope you enjoyed it.
